As of August 2023, 124 cats were spayed & neutered in our TNR program. We have a waitlist of 100+ cats still in need.
We provide training, resources and funding for Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) for community cats (feral and stray) to prevent cat overpopulation.
TNR reduces the number of cats euthanized in shelters. Community cats produce 80% of the kittens born in the U.S. each year. (HSUS) Sadly, kittens are being euthanized at shelters due to spread of disease (mainly distemper).
Kittens caught in the TNR process are fostered, socialized and adopted out.
